CAIRO – 2 July 2024: Official sources announced, Tuesday the most prominent names nominated for Egypt’s new Cabinet reshuffle with more than 13 new ministers included. The new Cabinet will take the oath on Wednesday and hold the weekly meeting.
Egypt’s new Cabinet formation lead by PM Mostafa Madbouly as announced by the sources include the following ministers:

Osama al-Azhari minister of endowments
Maya Morsy minister of social solidarity
Sherif El Sherbini minister of housing
Ahmed Kojok minister of finance
Badr Abdel Aty minister of foreign affairs and immigration

Osama al-Azhari who is expected to be announced as minister of endowments is one of the new names that was announced within the new cabinet, here is the most important things you need to know about him:
- He grew up in Sohag, Upper Egypt.
- Obtained the International Certificate (PhD) from the Faculty of Fundamentals of Religion with first class honors, with recommendation for course and circulation, in 2011 AD.
- He obtained a bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Fundamentals of Religion and Islamic Call at Al-Azhar University in 1999.
-Obtained a specialization degree (Master’s) in the Hadith and its sciences from the College of Fundamentals of Religion and Islamic Call in 2005 AD.
- He worked as a lecturer in the Department of Noble Hadith at the Faculty of Fundamentals of Religion and Islamic Call in Assiut in 2000 AD, then an assistant lecturer in the same college in 2005 AD.
- He worked as an assistant lecturer at the Faculty of Fundamentals of Religion and Islamic Call in Zagazig
- He studied a number of Sharia and other sciences freely under a number of senior scholars specializing in the sciences of hadith, interpretation, principles of jurisprudence, logic, grammar, doctrine, and others.
