50% of El-Alamein Festival's activities to be held during day to reduce power consumption

CAIRO - 1 July 2024: In accordance with the state's plan to reduce electricity load consumption, El Alamein Festival will hold 50 percent of its activities during the day.
 
Mona Abdel Wahab, the media spokesperson for the El Alamein Festival, said during the festival’s press conference that 50 percent of the festival’s activities will be during the day, in addition to relying on solar energy and electric generators.
 
Abdel Wahab indicated that 60 percent of the profits from the El Alamein Festival will be allocated to the injured in Palestine.
 
The activities of the New Alamein Festival will begin in its second edition from July 11 to August 30, which will witness many artistic and sporting events, after the great success achieved by the festival in its first edition held last year.
 
The management of the New Alamein Festival in its second edition announced that 60 percent of the festival’s profits would be allocated to Palestine, as this was stated on the poster for the second edition of the festival.
 
Extra News channel promoted the El Alamein Festival 2024, by publishing a teaser promo containing clips from the first season’s concerts that were held last year, in which most of the singing stars participated. The promo also reviewed some of the sporting events that had previously been organized during the first edition of the festival.
 
It is noteworthy that the first season of the El Alamein Festival witnessed the participation of a large number of singing stars in the Arab world who performed concerts, in addition to the great diversity in those concerts, most notably: King Muhammad Mounir, Ragheb Alama, Ahmed Saad, Nancy Ajram, Omar Khairat, Medhat Saleh, Elissa, Tamer Ashour, Wegz, Hakim, Cairokee Band, and others.
