CAIRO – 27 June 2024: President of Cairo University Mohamed al-Khosht stated Thursday that the Medical School has 25 affiliated hospitals that are equipped with the most modern devices.

Cairo University has emerged as the frontrunner among 20 universities in Egypt listed in the 2024 Center for World University Rankings (CWUR).

The rankings, which feature 2,000 universities worldwide, highlight the historic Cairo University's position as the leading institution in Egypt, securing the 513th spot.

Ain Shams University, renowned for its scientific excellence, closely follows at the 769th position, while Mansoura University claims the third position among Egyptian universities, ranking 873rd globally.

Additionally, Alexandria University secures the 914th position in the global rankings.

The CWUR ranking system employs a rigorous methodology, relying on seven objective indicators across four key areas: education (25%), employability (25%), faculty (10%), and research (40%).

It serves as a valuable resource for governments and universities, providing policy advice, strategic insights, and consulting services to enhance educational and research outcomes.
