Gaza death toll rises to 37,347 since October 7th

CAIRO – 17 June 2024:  The Palestinian Ministry of Health has announced a rise in the death toll from Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, reaching 37,347 martyrs and 85,372 injured since October 7th.

Additionally, the Israeli occupation forces have committed two new massacres against families in Gaza. These recent attacks have resulted in 10 martyrs and 73 injuries within the past 24 hours alone.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu dissolved on Monday the war cabinet and directed the forming of a new one.

The war cabinet included Gantz and fellow National Unity Minister Gadi Eisenkot, as well as Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer.

Israeli Media cited security official saying, that they would not allow Itamar Ben Gvir, the Israeli Minister of National Security, to join the new sensitive consultation council, because he ‘poses a threat to Israel’s security’.

The official stressed that it is impossible to agree on Ben Gvir’s joining the limited government because He is ‘irresponsible and leaks details of the discussions to other parties’
