CAIRO – 10 June 2024: Egypt’s General Authority of Meteorology revealed on Monday that the country will be witnessing a noticeable rise in temperatures in the coming days, as starting tomorrow, Tuesday, June 11, a gradual rise in temperatures is expected in most areas as the beginning of an intense heat wave.
According to the Meteorological Authority, temperatures are expected to rise again in Greater Cairo to record 42 degrees by the end of the week, with temperatures in South Upper Egypt reaching 46 degrees.
On Monday, the weather is expected to be hot in the north of the country, extremely hot in South Sinai and the south of the country, moderate at night in most parts, and hot in South Sinai and South Upper Egypt.
It is expected to witness wind activity in separate areas and intermittent periods in areas of South Sinai, the Red Sea mountain ranges, North Upper Egypt, and South Upper Egypt.
