CAIRO – 23 May 2024: The Official Gazette published two presidential decrees in its Thursday issue.

 

The text of the first decree, Resolution No. 553 of 2023, pertains to the approval of an agreement aimed at eliminating double taxation concerning taxes on income and capital and preventing tax evasion between Egypt and Croatia.

 

The text of the second decree, No. 612 of 2023, concerns the approval of a financial cooperation agreement worth €80 million between the government of Egypt and Germany. This agreement aims to finance Egypt’s national program for solid waste management, provide financial support for the comprehensive technical education initiative, and establish risk management mechanisms.
