CAIRO - 16 May 2024: Libyan Presidential Council Head Mohamed Younis Al-Menfi has reaffirmed Libya's unwavering support for the Palestinian people in Gaza and across all of Palestine.

 

During his speech at the 33rd regular session of the Arab League Council at the summit level in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Al-Menfi made the following points:

 
Al-Menfi emphasized Libya's steadfast commitment to supporting the Palestinian cause, particularly the plight of the people in Gaza.
 
 
He reiterated Libya’s strong condemnation of the severe aggression against Gaza, highlighting the mass genocide faced by tens of thousands of Palestinians.Legal Action Against Israel.
 
 
Al-Menfi announced Libya’s decision to join South Africa in its lawsuit against Israel at the International Court of Justice, demonstrating a unified front in seeking justice for the Palestinian people.
