CAIRO – 12 May 2024: An official source in North Sinai stated Sunday that the number of jets carrying aid to Gaza and that landed in Egypt's Arish International Airport had amounted to 623 bringing a total of 22,000 tons donated by 50 countries and organizations.

 

Head of the State Information Service (SIS) Diaa Rashwan stated on April 8 that the number of aid trucks that had entered Gaza Strip since October hit 19,000 carrying a total of 19,952 tons of medical supplies; 10,435 tons of fuel; 123,453 tons of food; 26,692 tons of water; 44,103 tons of other types of aid; and, 2,023 tons of tents.  

 

In the same month, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli stated that 85 percent of humanitarian aid delivered to Gaza is donated by Egypt. Further, he noted that thousands of Palestinian injured and patients in critical conditions had been receiving medical treatment in Egyptian hospitals.
