Expect dusty winds to make their presence felt in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt (the Nile Delta), and possibly the northern coast and northern Upper Egypt.
According to the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA), hot weather isn't limited to Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt but will extend to the eastern northern coast.
So, a day trip to Alexandria might not be the coolest idea today.
If you're seeking respite, the western northern coast offers slightly cooler temperatures, so consider visiting the crystal-clear waters of Matrouh governorate.00
