CAIRO – 9 May 2024: Lieutenant General Mahmoud Fouad Abdel Jawad, Commander of the Egyptian Air Forces, met with Lieutenant General Turki bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Commander of the Royal Saudi Air Forces, during an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

 

The visit was to attend the opening ceremony of King Faisal Air Academy in its new headquarters and to celebrate the graduation of the 103rd batch of college students.

 

During the meeting, the commanders of the air forces of both countries engaged in a bilateral discussion covering various topics of mutual interest, highlighting the partnership relations and strategic cooperation between their respective air forces.

 

Both sides commended the fruitful cooperation aimed at enhancing technical capabilities, combat efficiency, and knowledge exchange across all domains. This collaboration serves to bolster their ability to address common challenges amidst the evolving regional landscape.

 

Additionally, Lieutenant General Mahmoud Fouad Abdel Jawad extended congratulations to his Saudi counterpart on the inauguration of the college's new premises, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, and applauded the successful graduation of the new batch. He emphasized the depth and resilience of the historical relations between Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
