Egyptian security delegation warns Israeli counterparts of consequences of storming Rafah crossing

CAIRO - 7 May 2024: A high-level source stated that the Egyptian security delegation warned its counterparts in Israel of the consequences of storming the Rafah crossing from the Palestinian side, and requested that this movement be stopped immediately.

The source went on saying that efforts are still ongoing to stop the escalation between the two parties. 

On Tuesday, Egypt released a statement condemning the Israeli seizure of the Palestinian side of Rafah Border Crossing following the military operations Israeli occupation forces launched.
