CAIRO - 1 May 2024: Dr. Ahmed Al-Sabbagh, Advisor to the Egyptian Minister of Higher Education for Technical and Technological Education, confirmed that the procedures for establishing two technological universities have been completed and are being presented to the cabinet in preparation for the start of studies in them in the academic year 2024/2025.
He further pointed out the continuation of surveying and architectural drawings for the rest of the technological universities scheduled to be launched during the coming period among the 17 new technological universities, in implementation of the directives of President Sisi, noting that many field visits have been organized to the lands designated for the establishment of these universities in various governorates.
Technological universities aim to qualify graduates to provide the labor market with well-trained technical personnel qualified to keep pace with modern developments in the industrial field.
Technological universities operate on a (2+2) system, granting (above intermediate professional diploma in technology) and (professional bachelor’s degree in technology), in addition to (professional master’s in technology) and (professional doctorate in technology).
