President Sisi witness 1st Arab Military Equestrian Championship

CAIRO – 24 April 2024:  Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al Sisi arrived on Wednesday at the venue of the Arab Military Equestrian Championship in the Olympic Games City in the New Administrative Capital.

 

Sisi started with an inspection tour inside the places designated for holding the Arab Military Equestrian Championship.

The tournament will take place starting 24th to 27th of April at the Olympic Games City in the New Administrative Capital.

 

Eleven Arab countries are participating in the tournament including, (Egypt - Libya - Qatar - Algeria - Kuwait - Tunisia - Syria - Iraq - Saudi Arabia - Jordan - UAE).

Many national entities and companies were keen to confirm their participation as sponsors of the tournament, and the it comes within the framework of the efforts of the Egyptian Armed Forces to strengthen military and cultural ties between Arab countries and exchange experiences in various sports, which contributes to consolidating the bonds of relations and cooperation between Arab armies.

 

The championship also comes within the framework of the Armed Forces’ keenness to establish equestrian sports within Egyptian stadiums.
