CAIRO – 23 April 2024: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed Tuesday in a statement the agreement reached by Armenia and Azerbaijan on April 21 entailing the return of four villages by the former to the latter and border demarcation accordingly.
The ministry noted that the agreement was considered a positive development, and a fruitful outcome of the efforts deployed to demarcate the borders. Egypt also encouraged the two sides to take more steps towards trust building until they sign a peace treaty.
