CAIRO – 22 April 2024: Egypt’s Interior Ministry has announced that two exceptional visits will be arranged to all inmates of correctional and rehabilitation centers, on the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of Sinai Liberation Day, which falls on April 25 each year.
The ministry said these exceptional visits will last from April 27 to June 13 /2024.
The move comes in light of the Interior Ministry's keenness to provide all forms of support for all prisoners of correctional and rehabilitation centers and give them the chance to meet their relatives in different occasions, as part of an approach to uphold human rights values.
