Egypt to witness strong rise in temperature as of Monday

CAIRO - 22 April 2024: Dr. Muhammad Ali Fahim, head of the Climate Information Center at the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, said that recent updates to climate prediction models indicate a deepening of the expected state of strong climate changes.

 

Fahim added that the strong rise in temperature will begin gradually from today, Monday, with an increase of 5 degrees above that was witnessed on Sunday.

 

The temperature will then rise strongly starting Tuesday to record 40 degrees Celsius in most areas, including the northern Delta and the northern coast, except for Sinai and the canal cities.
