Egypt to witness drop in temperature as of Thursday until mid next week

CAIRO - 18 April 2024: The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expected Thursday, to witness a drop in temperatures in the north of the country up to Greater Cairo and North Upper Egypt, with values ranging from (6:5) degrees.

 

According to EMA, hot weather will prevail during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, and North Upper Egypt, and extremely hot weather in South Upper Egypt.

 

Dr. Muhammad Ali Fahim, head of the Climate Information Center at the Ministry of Agriculture and Reclamation, said that the temperature is expected to drop starting Thursday in the north, and Friday, in the south, until mid next week, after the temporary hot wave that the country was exposed to the past two days.

 

Temperature degrees across the country witnessed a significant rise Wednesday, accompanied with the activity of hot southern winds.
