EgyptAir resumes flights to Dubai after one-day hiatus due to bad weather

CAIRO – 18 April 2024: The Egyptian national company EgyptAir has resumed its flights to and from Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, after a one-day hiatus due to bad weather conditions in the UAE.

The UAE announced on Wednesday the suspension of flights following major disturbances in aviation traffic due to bad weather conditions.

“The UAE witnessed its heaviest rainfall on record in the past 24 hours. Surpassing anything documented since the start of data collection in 1949, the downpour impacted numerous regions across the country,” said the state-owned news agency WAM.
