1st day of Eid al-Fitr witnesses warm weather during day across Egypt

CAIRO - 10 April 2024: The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects that Wednesday, the first day of Eid al-Fitr, will witness warm weather during the day in Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt. 

 

EMA expected that the weather tends to be warm on the northern coasts, hot in South Sinai and North Upper Egypt and South Upper Egypt, while record low temperature degrees at night and in the early morning.

 

On Wednesday, light to moderate rain is expected on the northeastern coasts, northern Lower Egypt, and the Canal cities, and wind activity in most parts increases the feeling of cold weather at night.

 

As for the temperatures on Wednesday:

 

Greater Cairo records highs of 26 degrees and lows of 17

 

Alexandria records highs of 23 and lows of 16

 

Matrouh records highs of 22 degrees and lows of 16

 

Sohag records highs of 28 degrees and lows of 16

 

Qena records highs of 30 degrees and lows of 18

 

Aswan records highs of 31 degrees and lows of 18.
