Sisi reaffirm to Palestinian counterpart Abbas Egypt's continued efforts to support Palestinians’ rights

CAIRO – 9 April 2024: Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al Sisi and his Palestinian counterpart Mahmoud Abbas exchanged greetings on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr during a phone call on Tuesday.

President Sisi expressed his sincere wishes for Palestinian people for goodness, peace and security, reaffirming Egypt's continued efforts to support the Palestinians on all levels, to preserve the rights of the Palestinian people and to achieve their legitimate aspirations for the establishment of an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

President Abbas expressed his sincere appreciation for President El-Sisi’s greetings, praising Egypt's steadfast position in support of the Palestinian people, asking Allah Almighty to return this occasion to the peoples of Egypt and Palestine with goodness, prosperity and blessings.
