CAIRO – 1 April 2024: The Egyptian New Administrative Capital is ready for President Sisi’s inauguration ceremony as he will be sworn in at the House of Representatives next Tuesday for a third term, said Chairman and Managing Director of Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD) Khaled Abbas.
In media remarks to the “On My Responsibility” talk show on Sada El Balad T. V., Abbas added that after swearing in, Sisi will assume his duties from the new administrative capital.
President Sisi sworn in into the office for the first term on June 8, 2024. Since then, he has led the country.
On December 18, 2023, Egypt’s National Election Authority (NEA) announced that Sisi secured another presidency term for additional six years after winning the 2024 Presidential Elections with 39.702.541 votes or 89.6% of total valid votes.
