Pope Francis renews call for ending world conflicts

CAIRO - 29 March 2024: Pope Francis renewed his call for ending conflicts worldwide during his weekly audience on Wednesday.

The Vatican Pope, according to the Italian news agency ANSA, stated, "Let us pray for peace," expressing his hope for "establishing peace in the tormented Ukraine, which suffers greatly under bombardment, as well as in Israel and Palestine."

He added, "Let us pray for peace in the Holy Land."
