CAIRO – 4 March 2024: Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli said on Monday that there are presidential directives to immediately release goods from Egyptian ports with giving priority to foodstuffs and medicines.
During meeting with Minister of Finance Mohamed Maait and senior officials at the Central Bank of Egypt, he added that the decision to release the goods from ports came in light of the U.S. dollar resources increase from ‘Ras El Hekma’ deal with the United Arab Emirates and other investments deals.
The prime minister added that the state would continue its reform measures to support the industry sector and increase exports
