CAIRO – 21 February 2024: Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shokry expressed Egypt's eagerness for strengthening economic and developmental cooperation with South Africa, commending the current coordination on regional affairs of mutual concern.
The minister's statements came during a meeting with his African counterpart Naledi Pandor on the sidelines of the G20 Foreign Ministers' Meeting. Minitser Shokry and Minister Pandor discussed the Gaza War and possible resorts to end the aggression.
On another level, Minister Pandor expressed keenness to co-chair the 10th session of the Egyptian-South African Cooperation Committee with Minitser Shokry in South Africa next April for its role in strengthening economic and developmental collaboration.
