Egyptian FM meets Bulgarian counterpart

CAIRO - 10 February 2024: Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on Saturday met with Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Teodora Genchovska at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the New Administrative Capital, according to a statement by the ministry's spokesperson, Ambassador Ahmed Abu Zeid.

 

 

Shoukry accompanied Genchovska to the Cabinet headquarters to meet with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly.

 

 

Abu Zeid said that the two foreign ministers will co-chair the Egyptian-Bulgarian Joint Committee meeting on Saturday, which will be attended by several ministers from both sides. A joint press conference is scheduled to be held later in the day.
