Cold weather remains in various parts of country: EMA

CAIRO - 2 February 2024: Medium and low clouds will remain covering Egypt’s northern coasts, accompanied by rains and thunders, announced the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA).

The weather remains very cold in various parts of the country, EMA added, noting that intense rains will fall in various areas in the north of the country to Greater Cairo and North Upper Egypt.

A significant drop in temperatures throughout the week. According to the Head of the Climate Information Center at the Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, Dr. Muhammad Ali Fahim, the temperatures dropped by 4-5 degrees, with frost expected to form for the first time in the winter of this year.
