Egypt's defense minister orders officers to be ready for any mission

CAIRO – 16 January 2024: Minister of Defense and Military Production General Mohamed Zaki ordered Tuesday commanders and officers to remain alert and ready to accomplish any mission.

That was during a periodical meeting held in the framework of regular follow-up, and exchanging views on the development of performance and capabilities. Hence, a number of senior commanders presented works pertinent to fending off Egyptian national security, and modernizing methods of executing tasks.  

Minister Zaki stressed, in his speech, the Egyptian Armed Forces' eagerness for human capacity-building, and modernizing its combat and technical capabilities in all fields to optimally defend the nation.
