SCA denies suspending navigation through Suez Canal over Red Sea developments

CAIRO – 12 January 2024: ‏Lieutenant General Osama Rabie, Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority, said on Friday that navigation movement in the canal is regular from both directions.

‏Rabie denied allegations about any ‘temporarily suspension’ of navigation as a result of developing situation in the Bab al-Mandab.
