18-hour long water outage across 26 Cairo districts tomorrow

CAIRO – 21 July 2017: Due to the ongoing improvement in the water supply services, water is expected to be out in 26 Cairo districts on Saturday for 18 hours starting 4 p.m. till 10 a.m. Sunday morning, according to announcements of the Greater Cairo Water Company (GCWC).

They called people, bakeries, and hospitals to stock up on water in preparation for the outage.

The company said it is working to provide water to the affected areas using mobile tanks of drinking water, which are on call at the hotline 125 from landlines.
