Arish Airport received 356 aircrafts carrying aid to Gaza since beginning of Israeli aggression

CAIRO - 30 December 2023: The total number of aircrafts that transported international aid to the residents of the Gaza Strip through Al-Arish Airport in North Sinai, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Gaza until today, has risen to 356 aircrafts.
 
During the past few hours, the airport received two aid cargo planes from Poland and the Emirates. The Polish plane transported 33,352 tons of medical aid, and the Emirati plane transported 36 tons of food and medicine.
 
Dr. Khaled Zayed, head of the Egyptian Red Crescent branch in North Sinai, said that it began receiving international aid to Gaza arriving by air through Al-Arish Airport in North Sinai on October 12, and volunteers unloaded its cargo and prepared it for transport to the Rafah crossing to reach the Gaza Strip.
 
The international relief organizations from which the aid planes arrived came from the World Food Organization, UNICEF, the World Health Organization, the Red Cross, a plane from Doctors Without Borders, the European Union, and the United Nations.
 
The countries from which planes transporting aid to Gaza arrived and landed at Al-Arish Airport are: Kuwait, Turkey, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, Algeria, Jordan, Japan, Iraq, Indonesia, France, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Bahrain, England, Brazil, Tunisia, Venezuela , India, Kenya, Colombia, Malaysia, Greece, Libya, Turkmenistan, Poland, Denmark, Sultanate of Oman, Chechnya, Belgium, Kenya, Germany, Argentina, Singapore, America, Kakhstan.
