Explosion occurs in Maadi; no injuries reported

CAIRO – 21 July 2017: An Explosion occurred in the Cairo suburb of Maadi Friday morning.

No injuries have been reported; however, the stores' facades and cars were damaged due to explosion of a gas tank in a pizza store in Hadaek al-Maadi area.

Police, explosive experts and investigation moved to the area to investigate the reasons behind the explosion.


Social media users circulated a video of the explosion site.
