LIVE UPDATE: 1st day of voting domestically in 2024 Presidential Election kicks off

CAIRO – 10 December 2023: The first day of voting domestically in the 2024 Presidential Election kicked off on Sunday. The voting will conclude on December 12 with the number of eligible voters amounting to 67 million.

9:00: Polling stations closed at 9:00 P.M. nationwide after they have witnessed a high turnout of voters on the first day of the 2024 presidential election.

8:56: The National Elections Authority refers a female voter for investigation for voting twice in the presidential election abroad and at home.

8:55: Presidential candidate Abdul-Sanad Yamama: The turnout ns on the first day of in the presidential election is high.

8:00: Voters continue to flock to the polling stations in Abbasiya, one hour before closing the voting at 9:00 P.M.
