Sisi wishes Emirati people further progress at UAE National Day celebration

CAIRO - 2 December 2023: Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi participated on Saturday in the celebration of the National Day of the United Arab Emirates.

Sisi congratulated UAE’s President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and wished the UAE people all progress and prosperity.

The two leaders expressed mutual pride in the strong fraternal relations between Egypt and the UAE at the leadership and popular levels.

Sisi also congratulated the UAE on the successful hosting of the 28th UN Climate Change Conference (COP28).

 

On Friday, Sisi participated in the Summit of Heads of State and Government at COP28 in Dubai, reaffirming Egypt's commitment to addressing the challenge of climate change.

He also called for global support and sincere cooperation for the United Arab Emirates to ensure historic outcomes from the Dubai conference.

Sisi emphasized the resolve and capability to save and protect our planet Earth, “the home of our life, the future of our children and grandchildren, generation after generation.”
