CAIRO - 2 December 2023: The second day of voting process in the presidential elections kicked off abroad, where Egyptian expats flow to embassies and consulates in most of the world countries to express their will.

NEA holds press conference
The National Elections Authority (NEA) said in a Saturday press conference that all notices from embassies around the world have been answered.
Ahmed Bandari, Director of the Executive Office of NEA, said voters can now vote with a photocopy of their national ID, with ambassadors verifying the identity of the voter.
Bandary held a video conference call with a number of Egyptian ambassadors and consulates abroad to follow up on the progress of the electoral process for Egyptians abroad.
The voting abroad is taking place over three days from 1-3 December in 121 countries from 9 AM to 9 PM every day.

The electoral process is being conducted outside Egypt in 137 embassies and consulates in 121 countries around the world, whose headquarters and addresses were issued by the Board of Directors of the National Elections Authority No. (27) of 2023.
Four presidential candidates are competing in this election, including incumbent President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, who has been in post for two terms since 2014.
Other candidates are Farid Zahran, head of the Egyptian Social Democratic Party; Abdel Sanad Yamama, Head of Al-Wafd Party, and Hazem Omar, head of the Republican People’s Party.
Presidential elections kicks off
Egyptian expats worldwide are choosing their leader for the next six years. Embassies and consulates in most of the world countries are open for voters in the 2024 Presidential Elections to express their will.
The voting abroad is taking place over three days from 1-3 December in 121 countries from 9 AM to 9 PM every day.
