CAIRO – 21 November 2023: Minister of Social Solidarity Nevine al-Qabaj stated Tuesday that 14,500 tons of aid had been delivered to Gaza Strip through Rafah Border Crossing, including 11,500 tons granted by Egyptian entities.
The minister's statements came during a meeting with Qatari State Minister for International Cooperation Lolwa al-Khater whose country donated almost 421 tons of aid and that were delivered to Egypt on 11 jets that landed in Arish International Airport.
The Qatari minister had met with Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shokry on Sunday as they tackled ways of coordinating efforts to deliver aid and achieve a ceasefire.
Further, official sources revealed that Egypt and Qatar were coordinating together to accomplish a truce in Gaza Strip.
