Al-Azhar condemns Israeli aggression on schools of Al-Fakhoura, Tal Al-Zaatar

CAIRO – 19 November 2023: Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Egypt’s top Sunni Islamic institute, confirmed that the Zionsit entity’s targeting of innocent displaced ‎people in the Al-Fakhoura and Tal Al-Zaatar schools, which left hundreds of human casualties, constitutes inhumane and immoral crimes.

“These crimes add to the record of ‎the bloody Zionist entity (Israel), which is stripped of any sense of humanity or morality. They only ‎understand the language of murder and tyranny, usurpation and infringement on the rights of ‎others,” the statement continued.

Al-Azhar called on all the free people of the world to unite in the face of the zionist terrorism and ‎those who stand behind them, in light of the silence of the international community and the ‎slackness of those near and far.

It also called on them to exercise utmost pressure to end ‎this sinister aggression that targets children, women, and the elderly, exposing its ‎crimes, carnages and ongoing massacres against innocent Palestinians.

Al-Azhar Al-Sharif extended sincere condolences and sympathy to the rightful owners of the land, lamenting the utmost nonfeasance of the Arab and Muslim nations and the world, that failed to save our brothers and sisters in Palestine or to live up to their ‎historical responsibility.

Al-Azhar also prays to Allah to bless the martyrs with his ‎vast mercy, and to strengthen the hearts of the honorable Palestinians, and ‎support them against their enemy, our enemy, and the enemy of humanity, stressing that every ‎occupation will die out, and that the criminal, terrorist Zionist occupation will eventually be ‎driven out of the land of Palestine sooner or later.
