Alexandria Illuminated with Campaign Colors as El-Sisi's Presidential Bid Takes Flight

In alignment with the kickoff of the election campaign period for the upcoming presidential elections, the Corniche road, squares, and streets of Alexandria witnessed a widespread display of campaign materials for presidential candidate Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

Banners and posters adorned with slogans such as "Beloved by Millions - We will complete the journey - Long live Egypt" lined the thoroughfares.

The election campaign period for presidential candidates in the 2024 elections commenced last Thursday, following the announcement of the final list of candidates by the National Electoral Commission, led by Counselor Hazem Badawy. Candidates utilize these electoral symbols in the presidential race, and the campaign period will continue until the start of the electoral silence, as stipulated by the National Electoral Commission on December 8.

It's noteworthy that the National Electoral Commission had earlier released the timetable for the presidential election procedures and dates. The voting process for Egyptians abroad is scheduled for December 1, 2, and 3, while domestically, it will take place on December 10, 11, and 12.
