Humanitarian aid reached the Palestinian side of the Rafah crossing in cooperation with the Red Crescent- File
CAIRO – 13 November 2023: The Rafah border crossing is open and has not been closed since the beginning of the crisis in the Gaza Strip, said Egyptian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Ahmed Abu Zeid in a statement on Monday.
The Israeli side is the one who impedes the entry of aid into Gaza by its obstructive procedures and conditions and weak justifications, Abu Zeid added, saying “Egypt totally rejects the allegations that are being promoted [against the Egyptian stance].
He called upon those who promote or claim that the Rafah border crossing closed should go back to UN and international relief statements, which confirm that Egypti has taken all facilitations to deliver aid fast and in a sustainable manner.
