CAIRO – 11 November 2023: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has arrived in Saudi Arabia to take part in the extraordinary joint Islamic-Arab summit in Riyadh on Saturday.
The summit brings Arab and Muslim leaders to enhance consultations and coordination on the Israeli military escalation in Gaza and the Palestinians lands and unify the Arab stances toward it.
Since the start of the Israeli war in Gaza, Egypt has delivered hundreds of humanitarian aid trucks to the totally besieged strip and has evacuated hundreds of foreign nationals and injured people from there.
Egypt, alongside Arab countries, has been also calling for a humanitarian truce and a ceasefire in Gaza, affirming the need to return to negotiations in order to resolve the Palestinian-Israeli conflict on the basis of the two-state solution.
