We received firm threats to evacuate Al-Quds Hospital: Palestinian Red Crescent

CAIRO – 29 October 2023: Palestinian Red Crescent announced on Sunday receiving firm threats to immediately evacuate Al Quds Hospital in Gaza Strip.

“We feel extremely worried for the medical crews working inside al Quds hospital in Gaza Strip” Palestine Red Crescent said.

They added that, up to 12.000 displaced people are estimated to take shelter inside Al-Quds Hospital in Gaza.

The Palestine Red Crescent urged international community to intervene to protect civilians and medical crews in Gaza.

On October 20, The Palestinian Red Crescent also announced that it received a threat from the Israeli occupation authorities to bomb Al-Quds Hospital in Gaza, demanding the immediate evacuation of the hospital.

The hospital announced then that they are housing more than 400 patients and about 12,000 displaced civilians who took refuge in the hospital as a safe place, in addition to the medical staff, amid the Israeli strikes on the strip that left thousands killed since the beginning of the aggression.

The death toll of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces since the outbreak of the war on Gaza has risen to more than 8,000 people, Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Sunday

It added that Israel has committed 825 massacres against Palestinian families in Gaza since October 7.
