Amr Moussa calls displacement of Palestinians ‘war crime’

CAIRO - 24 October 2023: Amr Moussa, former Secretary-General of the Arab League, said Tuesday all Egyptians support the official position opposing a forcible displacement of Gazans into Sinai.

Moussa told Al-Hurra TV that there is overwhelming support for this position by the two neighboring states of Palestine, Egypt and Jordan. 

That is because it is an Israeli policy that seeks to empty the occupied territories of their population, he said.

The removal of the indigenous people of Palestine would be a war crime, he emphasized.
