CAIRO – 24 October 2023:In response to the ongoing conflict, Israeli universities have announced a further delay in the start of the academic year, now scheduled to begin in December, as reported by Israel's Channel 12.
University administrators had previously delayed the start of the academic year to November 5th. However, this new announcement confirms the continued suspension of educational activities until the beginning of December.
According to the announcement, research universities will reopen and classes will resume concurrently with the demobilization of reservists, with the latest date for resumption being December 3rd.
A minimum two-week notice period will be provided before classes resume, allowing students and faculty members to prepare for the new academic year and return to their academic routines.
