UN Chief Guterres arrives at Al-Arish Int'l Airport and checks on the humanitarian aid that are ready to be delivered for Gaza-
CAIRO - 24 October 2023: In a significant humanitarian effort, El Arish Airport in Egypt welcomed three aircraft today, loaded with urgent relief supplies destined for the people of Gaza.
Mohammed Fareed, the Executive Director of the Egyptian Red Crescent in North Sinai, confirmed that these aircraft included two from Turkey and one from Bahrain.
Upon arrival, the shipments were swiftly unloaded by a team of Egyptian Red Crescent volunteers and loaded onto trucks for further preparation and transfer to Gaza. The Palestinian Red Crescent will receive and distribute these crucial supplies within Gaza.
This joint effort showcases international solidarity and support for the people of Gaza during a challenging time, as they grapple with the aftermath of conflict and the urgent need for humanitarian assistance.
