CAIRO – 19 October 2034: Palestinian girl was killed and others were injured in an Israeli airstrike, Thursday targeting Saint Porphyrius Orthodox Church in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza Strip.

According to Palestinian Ministry of health, the church has been a shelter for hundreds of Palestinians displaced by the Israeli aggression.

The attack was reported to cause severe damage to parts of the church building, with an adjacent structure being completely destroyed.

The Saint Porphyrius Orthodox Church is located meters away from the Al Ahli Baptist Hospital, affiliated with the Anglican Episcopal Church, where Israeli warplanes committed a massacre last Tuesday, resulting in the death and injury of hundreds of civilians.

On Tuesday, Israel bombed Gaza Baptist Hospital where thousands of displaced Palestinians took refuge, killing up to 500 people.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas declared three days of mourning, and ordered that flags be flown at half-mast in mourning for the victims of the Israeli aggression on al-Ahli hospital and for all the people killed.

Palestinian Minister of Health said that the bombing of Gaza Baptist Hospital is a ‘genocide’.

‘We appeal to the international community to protect the Palestinian people’ the minster said.

Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al Sisi condemned the ‘deliberate Israeli bombing’ for Gaza Baptist Hospital which left 500 civilian dead according to the Palestinian ministry of Health.

On his official Facebook account, Sisi said that he has been following ‘with deep sorrow the Israeli bombing of Al Ahly Baptist Hospital in Gaza Strip, which resulted in hundreds of innocent victims, wounded and injured Palestinian citizens in Gaza.’

“Therefore, I condemn ‘in the strongest terms’ this deliberate bombing, which is considered a clear violation of international law and the provisions of international legitimacy and humanity.

I emphasize Egypt’s stance that rejects the continuation of these practices against civilians, demanding its immediate cessation.” President Sisi wrote.
