CAIRO - 11 October 2023: The weather forecast map issued by the General Meteorological Authority revealed that, starting next Saturday, October 14, a slight drop in temperatures is expected throughout, accompanied by rain of varying intensity in areas of the north of the country and Sinai.
Next Saturday is expected to witness moderate rain on areas of the northern coasts and northern Lower Egypt, extending light rain to areas of southern Lower Egypt and the canal cities at intermittent intervals.
On Saturday, October 14, it is expected that Cairo and Greater Lower Egypt will record highs of 28 degrees, and lows of 20 degrees; while the northern Great Coasts will record highs of 26 degrees and lows of 21 degrees; southern Greater Sinai will record highs of 33 degrees, and lows of 25 degrees; and northern Upper Egypt will record highs of 30 degrees, and lows of 20 degrees, and southern Upper Egypt will record highs of 35 degrees, and lows of 24 degrees.
On Wednesday, weather will be hot during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and northern Upper Egypt, moderate on the northern coasts, hot in southern Sinai, very hot in southern Upper Egypt, pleasant at the beginning of the night, tending to be cold in the north of the country until northern Upper Egypt, and temperature is expected to be moderate in South Sinai and South Upper Egypt.
Today, a slight drop in temperatures is expected in the late hours of the night and early morning in the north of the country up to Greater Cairo and northern Upper Egypt, with chances of light rain on the northwestern coasts, and light rain that may be moderate on the northeastern coasts, central Sinai, and northern Lower Egypt.
As for the temperatures on Wednesday:
Great Cairo will record highs of 30 degrees, and lows of 21 degrees
Alexandria will record highs of 27 degrees, and lows of 21 degrees
Matrouh will record highs of 26 degrees, and lows of 20 degrees
Great Sohag will record highs of 34 degrees, and lows of 21 degrees
Great Qena will record highs of 35 degrees, and lows of 24 degrees
Aswan will record highs of 36 degrees, and lows of 25 degrees
