Egypt delivers training to agricultural researchers from 8 countries

CAIRO – 10 October 2023: The Agricultural Research Center and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) collaborated for Egypt to deliver training to 18 researchers from eight Arab countries that are Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, Yemen, Jordan, Syria, Oman and Lebanon.

The training focused on the modern and advanced technology pertaining to the enhancement of grain and vegetable crops, as well as exchanging experience between Egyptian and Arab researchers.

The delegation also visited the Field Crops Research Institute to learn about ongoing research on the cultivation of rice, legumes, animal feed, cotton, medical and aromatic plants, as well as the production of vegetable seeds and palm seedlings.
