Sisi has vast popularity among Egyptians: Official spokesperson for presidential campaign

CAIRO – 7 October 2023: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi garnered 424 endorsements from parliament’s representatives and 1,130,000 votes from citizens, announced Judge Ahmed Fawzi, Official spokesperson for ASisi’s Presidential campaign, in a press conference on Saturday.

“Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi extends his gratitude and appreciation to all the people, who support him in running for the elections,” said Judge Mahmoud, adding that Sisi has a vast popularity among Egyptians.

“We pledge to adopt the best electoral standards, adherence to the rules of the constitution and the law,” he continued.

Fawzi said that an online website for the campaign events and activities, adding that the campaign will hold public meetings in all governorates starting next week.

The economic aspect comes on the top of the presidential candidate's vision and platform, Judge Fawzi added, saying “We fully confident in the impartiality of the institutions that manage the election scene […] In the next stage, we will focus on building the Egyptian personality.”

“Abdel Fattah El Sisi calls for participating in the upcoming election. The campaign will fight rumors by publishing facts,” Judge Fawzi said.

President Abdel Fattah Sisi announced, on Monday, his nomination for the Egyptian 2024 presidential election due to convene on December 10, 11, 12.

"As I have heeded the call of the Egyptians before, today, I answer their call again. I have decided to nominate myself to complete the dream in a new presidential term. I promise you, God willing, it will be a continuation of our joint efforts for the benefit of Egypt and its people,” President Sisi said at the closing session of a three-day conference “Story of A Homeland.”
