Foreign Ministry Spox: We pay tribute to our armed forces and their loyal leaders

CAIRO – 6 October 2023: Egypt celebrates, on Friday, the golden jubilee of the glorious October War victory, said Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Ahmed Abu Zeid on his X (formerly known as Twitter).

“Fifty years have passed and feelings of pride in that epic are still present in the soul of every Egyptian man and woman,” he said.

“A military miracle that demonstrated the valor of the Egyptian army and the strength of its will. On this great day, we pay tribute to our armed forces and their loyal leaders,” he continued.
