CAIRO - 25 September 2023: In the Jordanian capital, Amman, the curtain rose today on the first-ever International Cybersecurity Conference. Gracing the event with his presence and patronage was Jordan's Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah.
The grand opening also saw prominent figures including the Speaker of the Jordanian House of Representatives, Ahmed Al-Safadi, the Minister of Digital Communication and Entrepreneurship, Ahmed Al-Hananda, as well as numerous ambassadors, representatives from accredited embassies to the Kingdom, and a constellation of experts in the cybersecurity sector.
The conference boasts participation from various Arab and foreign countries, notably Egypt, the UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Algeria, the United States, and Britain. Moreover, over 20 exhibiting companies, representative of sectors related to information technology and cybersecurity, are participating.
Key discussion points of the conference are set to cover the global market dynamics of cybersecurity, cloud security solutions, protection against viruses and malicious software, threat detection tools, security analytics, identity and access management services, protection against fraud and hacking, and other services and products aimed at safeguarding cyber information and systems.
