Union Committee for workers at Misr Spinning and Weaving appeal to President Sisi to run for new term

CAIRO - 19 September 2023: The Union committee for workers at the Misr Spinning and Weaving Company in Mahalla El-Kubra appealed to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to run for a new presidential term in the upcoming presidential elections.

 

The union committee for workers at the Misr Spinning and Weaving Company in Mahalla El-Kubra appealed to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to run for a new presidential term to complete the achievements begun by His Excellency in various fields, especially the national project to advance the textile industry. 

 

President Sisi allocated a large part to the development and establishment of new factories at the Misr Company Spinning and Weaving Company in Mahalla El-Kubra, which is expected to open in the coming period, with the aim of reviving the company and returning it to leadership in the field of the textile industry, and restoring its global position.

Several leading figures from renowned political parties have also announced plans to run for elections, including Abdel-Sanad Yamama, head of El-Wafd Party and Hazem Oman, head of the People’s Republican Party.

The National Election Authority (NEA) has not yet announced the schedule for the upcoming presidential election, with the process expected to start by the end of this year.
